Booking Conditions

FASHION SHOWS: Please consult the agency for rates on all types of show. Fees for fittings, rehearsals, preparation, overtime are applicable.

PRINT RATES: All model’s rates are negotiated individually. There is a one-hour minimum except for certain models with specific rates and minimum booking times.

PROMOTIONAL: Rates will be set on an hourly basis and vary according to assignment and amount of work.

DAY RATES: "Day" bookings are up to eight hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm guaranteed at five to six times the model’s hourly rate. A day rate must be agreed upon in advance of the booking and cannot be transferred into an hourly rate during the booking. There is no charge for up to one-hour lunch break provided the model is not on call.

LINGERIE & UNDERWEAR: Bras, panties, pantyhose, sheer garments and men’s briefs will be charged at double the model’s hourly fee. Full slips, nightgowns, peignoirs and men’s boxers will be charged at time and one half. Beauty nudes will require additional clearance and fees. These sessions must be done closed set. Please indicate at time of booking if lingerie may be included in the shoot.

OVERTIME: Time and One Half is effective before 8:00 am and after 6:00 pm, after eight consecutive hours worked, or on Sundays and Holidays. Double Time occurs before 6:00 am and after 10:00 pm or after twelve consecutive hours worked; also on Sundays and Holidays after eight consecutive hours worked or before 8:00 am and after 6:00 pm.

MAKEUP & HAIR: All preparation on the set will be charged at the model’s full hourly rate.

TRAVEL TIME: Will be charged at one half the model’s hourly rate. Travel time past the half-hour is rounded up to the next full hour. Out-of-town bookings (beyond Fargo/Moorhead city limits) will be computed at $.44 per mile. Overnight bookings will include expenses (i.e., room, meals).

USAGE: Use of model’s image or likeness for billboards, posters, counter cards, displays, packaging, hang tags, national consumer advertising or interactive media must be included on all vouchers and requires an additional fee.

STOCK: No photos can be used for stock.

AGENCY FEE: There is an agency fee of 15% charged on all bookings. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all invoices not paid in 30 days.

MEMORIZATION FEE: There is a minimum $20 per page memorization fee for VOC scripts.

AUDITION/CASTING FEE: There is a charge for agency time and materials negotiated on a per job basis for audition tapes or casting calls.

CANCELLATIONS: Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a cancellation fee of half the established hourly rate. If a weather-permitting clause is established at time of booking, no cancellation fee will be charged if notified before a model/talent leaves for the assignment.

WEATHER PERMITS: First cancellation: no fee if the job is rescheduled; second cancellation same job or any cancellation on location: half fee. Other cancellations subject to normal cancellation policy. The "Weather Permits" provision must be stated at time of booking.

VOUCHERS: Model vouchers must be accurately completed and signed by both the model and the client. Any discrepancies should be settled before a voucher is signed.

PHOTO/LIKENESS RELEASES: Models will sign a client’s release upon completion of an assignment to be effective for 13 weeks from date specified on release. Re-negotiation with the Academie Agencie will be necessary if photo/likeness is used beyond that anniversary date. The 6-month photo/likeness privilege will be in effect even if a photo release was not furnished by the client.

The Academie Agencie acts as an agent for the models and talent we represent and as such, we are not their employer of record. We are not responsible for any Withholding Taxes, Workman’s Compensation or Unemployment Insurance.
